2026 Celebration Scholarship Recipients Announced

🎓 We’re celebrating three remarkable students from across Palo Duro Presbytery as they begin a new chapter this fall.

Palo Duro Presbytery is honored to award Celebration Scholarships to graduating high school seniors who are continuing their education and carrying their gifts into the future. Each recipient will receive $500 per semester, renewable for up to eight semesters with continued academic progress and church involvement.

Celebration Scholarship recipients include:

First Presbyterian Church
Pampa, Texas

Tristan will study History/Law.

First Presbyterian Church
Canyon, Texas

Samantha will study Graphic Design.

First Presbyterian Church
Lubbock, Texas

Anna will study Dance Science.

Applications were reviewed by members of the Celebration Scholarship Board of Directors, representing churches from across Palo Duro Presbytery. The board considers each applicant’s involvement in their church, school, and community as part of the selection process.

These three new recipients now join eight college students who are current Celebration Scholars. We give thanks for the ways our churches continue investing in the faith, leadership, and future of young people across our presbytery.

Celebration Scholarships are funded entirely through the generosity of churches and individuals throughout Palo Duro Presbytery. If you would like to help continue providing academic scholarships for young Presbyterians pursuing education beyond high school, we would be deeply grateful for your support.

Gifts may be made as a one-time donation or as a recurring monthly or annual contribution.
